What is the Challenge?

The Better Business Challenge is a friendly competition that helps businesses and organizations of all types and sizes cut energy costs while making a positive impact on the community! Whether you’ve long been a savvy player in sustainability realm or are just getting started, the Challenge is an effective way to build energy literacy in your workforce, increase energy savings, innovate around sustainability and lead. Join this fast-growing network of businesses who care about their bottom line AND their community impact! 

From homegrown businesses like High Tor Gear Exchange to national brands like WorldStrides and the CFA Institute, to local schools like Albemarle County Public Schools and Peabody School, and to churches such as Peace Lutheran, last round's 93 participants achieved:
